About LA Radio

L.A. Radio cc was established in September 1999 by the three existing members, Matthew Skey, Marc Lurie, and Dion Kenneth Long. The company employs five full-time staff members, and one part-time employee.

The company’s main business is the sale, installation, and maintenance of two-way radio equipment and accessories. The company is a duly authorised re-seller of Motorola, Kenwood, and Icom equipment, and an African distributor of Motorola HF equipment. We have sold and/or installed two way radio systems in over 30 African countries.

The company’s auditor is Levenstein and Partners, and the company banker is ABSA Bank. Turnover in the 2008/2009 year was just over R18,000,000 and in 2006/2007 the turnover was just under R20,000,000. Projected turnover for the 2009/20010 year is around R22,000,000.

Amongst our clients, we service Sasol Synthetic Fuels, Anglogold Ashanti, Group 5 Housing, Goldfields of South Africa, SAB Miller, Mvelephanda Holdings, BHP Billiton, the SA Mint, Murray and Roberts MEI, Roshcon, and Bateman Engineering.
